Unit: U.S. Dollar/Per Hour

1. Time calculation: the minimum rate is four hours. The time after four hours shall be calculated at hour, and the time less than one hour shall be calculated as one hour.

2. Text translation: should text translation be needed in the course of service, every 300 characters shall be converted into one hour.

3. Making an appointment: to ensure interpretation quality, please provide background materials of both sides to the maximum extent.

4. Number of interpreters: each interpreter shall serve only one person or offer interpretation service to a dialogue between two persons. Should two or more interpreters be needed for one person, they shall be hired separately.

5. Collecting deposits in advance: deposits of 80 percent of the interpretation fees shall be collected in advance. The exact time of interpretation shall be calculated after service ends.

6. Second language: should the customer require that the interpreter should know a second language, the interpretation fees shall be adjusted depending on what his/her second language is.

7. Matters needing attention: customers shall read and have a thorough understanding of the “Notice to Customers” before signing the entrustment contracts.

8. Rate adjustment: adjustment is not subject to notice separately. Rates available on the website address at the time of entrustment shall be taken as the standard rates. Bargaining is declined.

Interpretation of Terms

Simultaneous interpretation: taking conference hearings, live broadcasting and news shorthand as the service targets, with the speed approaching the uniform speed.

Impromptu conference: taking teaching lessons, training, conferences, exhibitions, negotiations and discussions as the service targets, with the speed differential almost equaling the uniform time.

Technical accompanying: taking equipment introduction, surveys, investigations and technical exchanges as the service targets, with the speed differential nearly equaling the uniform time.
